Christopher & Banks Social Media Coordinator in Plymouth, Minnesota


Christopher & Banks is hiring a Social Media Coordinator for our Corporate office located in Plymouth, MN!

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the social media channels and measuring the success of social media campaigns. Create and manage social content calendar and community management through the Hootsuite platform. This position will collaborate with other marketing business partners to drive traffic and engagement.

How you will spend your time...

  • Develop content to schedule, create and edit posts to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.

  • Execute new and creative strategies to help promote audience growth across all social platforms.

  • Utilize data to develop ongoing content strategies and track monthly engagement and other KPI's on all social channels.

  • Collaborate with the customer service team to respond to user comments, complaints and PR issues.

  • Actively research current content trends and industry landscape to provide recommendations for social media content to increase engagement within social channels.

  • Assist with influencer campaign management, including ideation, communication and reporting.

  • Establish and manage a library of assets for social media photos and videos, including internal content, influencer content and user-generated content.

  • Occasional local travel required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours for events, posts and responses at night and on the weekends.

What you will need to be successful....


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience


  • 2 years of experience in social media, marketing, PR or communications in retail

  • 2 years of experience in Hootsuite or similar platform preferred


  • Knowledge of all social media platforms

  • Proficient in MS Office and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience in video editing software for content creation preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Good understanding of social media KPI's

  • Passion for digital landscape, media, trends and online consumer behavior

  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
