OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

Our 10 week-long internship program is designed to provide real-world experience that is directly related to your career goals and field of study to help you gain a better understanding of career options for your degree. Below are a few highlights of our program:

  • Hands on experience working as a member of a specific department and team

  • Job shadowing opportunities

  • Summer project and final leadership presentation

  • Networking opportunities

  • Paid internship

  • Summer hours

OUR INTERNS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and present project for an identified category: develop recommendations for assortment based on line plan, competitive research, C&B performance, understanding of our brand and guest, etc.

  • Attend Milestone Meetings to gain understanding of Product Development process

  • Provide clear communication to vendor partners as it relates to product design and development

  • Sample management including filing, sending to vendor and purging

  • PLM validation and fixing discrepancies, as well as PLM creation of style numbers for logs

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

  • Junior or Senior working toward a 4-year degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, Marketing or similar area of study

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience at a fashion retailer desired

  • Specialty retail store experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong attention to detail and written communication skills

  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize

  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Ability to work in our Plymouth, MN Corporate Office during core business hours Monday - Friday

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Able to work up to 40 hours a week
