Christopher & Banks Marketing Analyst - CRM & Email in Plymouth, Minnesota


Christopher & Banks is looking for a Marketing Analyst - CRM & Email for our Corporate Office in Plymouth, MN.

The Marketing Analyst (CRM & Email) is responsible for email campaign execution as well as providing reporting and analysis/insights that inform optimization opportunities.

How you will spend your time...

  • Responsible for email marketing campaign deployment (heavily focused on customer segmentation and contact strategy), ensuring campaigns are executed timely and accurately.

  • Coordinates content, scheduling, deployment, and reporting for email campaigns across several customer segments.

  • Creates email proofs, builds and segments user lists that align with the campaign goals, and creates and manages testing strategies.

  • Proofreads for clarity, grammar, and spelling, and performs quality assurance.

  • Reports on, analyzes and summarizes campaign results and overall list performance with clear and easy-to-understand reports/dashboards.

  • Develops data-driven recommendations on how to improve the productivity of targeting and contact frequency across channels.

  • Participates in other special projects within the Marketing department including direct mail, phone lists for events and ad-hoc reports and requests.

  • Occasionally assist with coding emails.

  • Assist with research of industry statistics, trends and competitive information.

What you will need to be successful....

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in online marketing and operations

  • Experience with customer analytics and segmentation and A/B testing (e.g., subject lines, copy, creative assets, promotions, etc.)

  • Experience working with email service providers (Bronto preferred)

  • HTML/CSS experience preferred

  • Ability to build and code emails preferred


  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to efficiently monitor and report on campaign performance, creating actionable recommendations

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel

  • Ability to interact cross-functionally and with third party vendors
