Overview

Christopher & Banks is looking for a CIO for our Corporate Office in Plymouth, MN .

The Chief Information Officer is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Information Technology team aligning with the Company’s business objectives. Partner with senior leadership to develop, implement and maintain technology initiatives within the organization.

  • Develop and execute the strategic plans for information technology initiatives that align with the short- and long-term objectives of the Company. Work closely with the business to understand their needs from an application and technology perspective.

  • Lead the IT organization in identification of data and business systems in support of continued growth initiatives and for improved efficiencies and business decisions. Partner cross-functionally to drive innovative technology solutionsensuring the customer experience is positive and seamless from a technology perspective.

  • Establish and execute strategies fornetwork and data security, systems and data reliability, data quality, disaster recovery planning and procedures. Establish systems operating procedures and audits to enforce compliance of IT policy and a well-controlled reliable system environment.

  • Coach and develop team to maximize performance and ensure job satisfaction, retention and future advancement. Evaluate and recommend appropriate organizational structure to support changing business needs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive IT experience

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience

  • Minimum 5 years of vendor management experience

  • Experience with strategic leadership in a retail environment

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Expertise with vendor contract negotiation

  • Working knowledge of IT internal controls, design, programming and implementation of systems, Microsoft Networking Engineering and data warehousing

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Strong executive presence

  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting and profit and loss responsibility

  • Ability to prioritize in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships

  • Assertiveness and a strong initiative to drive change

  • Ability to develop and mentor a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
